I had suffered with the effects of Gigantomastia (extremely large breasts) since my late primary school years. Believing I couldn’t ever afford to have private health care for the breast reduction surgery I needed, I waited on the Medicare list for 22 years before finding out there wasn’t one! At 51 and only 152cm’s tall, the weight from my H cup size breasts had finally damaged my shoulders to the point where a breast reduction was my only choice for recovery. It took 3 years of research by my GP and I to find the right surgeon and a price I could afford. I found the saver of my life in Dr Scott Turner. My GP came across a patient that had surgery done by Dr Turner and although I already had appointments booked with two other surgeons (three months away), I gave Dr Turners Newcastle practise a call. I got an appointment for within two weeks; I met the patient co-ordinator and nurse first, then Dr Turner. I cried in this initial appointment because I was so embarrassed by my physical stature. I was treated with the utmost respect and compassion. Dr Turner explained what he felt was the best approach to my major reduction and I was happy with his explanation of a “free nipple graft” being the right option for me. The patient coordinator went through all the financial steps and costings, and Dr Turner’s fees came in at literally thousands less than the other two surgeon quotes. This meant I could do it! My surgery was booked that day for one months time with a small deposit!The surgery was only an overnight stay in hospital. Dr Turner was able to remove just over 5 kilograms, and I was left with enough to make a lovely, firm size C cup! It was so easy, and the care at Delmar Private Hospital in Sydney’s Northern Beaches was excellent! I was able to return home to Newcastle the day after. One week of lovely rest, very minimal pain or discomfort which was controllable with ordinary paracetamol and I am a totally new woman! The quality of life I regained was instantly improved. No more back pain; shoulder pain; restricted movement or rashes, and the HUGE underwire bra ceremony everyday with my daughter having to dress me…….was over.Dr Scott Turner is my hero. I cannot sing his praises enough! I encourage any woman suffering from any physical unhappiness to place their trust in the hands of Dr Turner and his team. This was the best decision I ever made in my life, and Dr Turner was the answer to my prayers. Thank you Dr Turner…. You gave me physical freedom I had never had before; you gave me the confidence to feel good in my own skin for the first time in my life, and you gave me the motivation to believe I can actually reach my body beautiful goals in moving forward and live an active and happy life. I not only recommend Dr Scott Turner, I am a self appointed advocate that if you have not met him….DO IT! Make an appointment today!

Ok so where do I start. A few years ago I had a rhinoplasty and while it went relatively ok, I had to return for several tweaks-4 in fact. I thought once the nose was fixed, I would smile a lot more. Instead I retracted from family photos because it still looked out of proportion and very obvious in photos. I looked around to see what options were available to fix it. I came across some well known surgeons that wanted to charge a ludicrous amount to fix it. I strongly believe they were in fact deterring me because “ to hard basket”. Finally I came across Dr Turner who set out a plan we both agreed upon without charging me a second mortgage. Finally a surgeon who “gets me” and will take on the challenge. Given my clinical outcome and look, I just couldn’t be happier. Just days after my procedure I can’t believe how awesome it looks. I even got comments at a conference I attended recently. Dr Turner thanks for surpassing my expectations and making me really smile-sheer brilliance!!!

I got a breast augmentation with Dr. Scott Turner. Him and his team of nurses are amazing, I can’t recommend them enough. I had been thinking about getting a breast augmentation for a few years but the entire procedure stressed me and I ended up delaying it. When I met Dr. Turner I felt I was in the correct hands from the first minute and decided to go for it. It has now been 6 months since I got my surgery and I am absolutely loving the results. Before surgery I had a 12A and with the help of Dr. Turner I decided to go for a 350c teardrop + fat grafting. The size and shape are absolutely spot on and I couldn’t be happier about the final result.

Dr. Turner was sensitive and kind during the consultation and took the time to explore and explain options. Clinic nurses at Newcastle were friendly and knowledgeable. The nurse taking photos prior to the consult helped make the consultation less confronting for my daughter. Very happy with the outcome. Highly recommend.Discharge from Delmar Private was very unprofessional and unacceptable. Do not recommend.

Scott and his team are amazing. You are always so well looked after, from the first consult to the follow up after surgery. I never felt uneasy undergoing surgery with Scott due to his very calm and easy manner. I was well informed of the procedures and any complications that may arise. I had a breast augmentation with Dr. Turner, and he made me feel very comfortable and confident in his skill. He doesn't use a cookie cutter method of implant selection, he looks at the patient as an individual and discusses with you what type of implant size, shape and texture would work for your body. He answered all my questions I had for him, and was very concise with details regarding post-op activities and recovery. Very personable and easy to talk to, highly recommend!

Obviously choosing to alter your body and put it in the hands of someone else is an awfully big decision and not to be one taken lightly.I had researched 3 other surgeons and had 2 consultations before deciding on Dr Turner.If you go into the consultation. With your concerns and questions, both the nurse and Dr turner put your mind at ease. The day of the procedure with covid restricting admittance with support beforehand, I couldn't recommend a better team than the one I had.I am 4 weeks post op and while I have a lot of recovery time ahead, I couldn't be more thrilled with what I've seen and experienced so far. So super happy.

Really awful experience, 4 operations, suffering from an infection after the third, not given any care when the infection could have been treated easily. GP having to start me on antibiotics as i was not given any by Dr Turner, resulting in the infection not being treated soon enough and causing me to get extremely sick and needing to be operated on for the 4th time, this time for a "wash out" to help clear the infection, followed by I.V antibiotics, a stay in hospital, another long recovery and a long course of oral antibiotics. Do your research, as i wouldnt wish my experience with 4 operations, 4 loads of recovery and a really awful infection on anyone!

Went to see Scott on recommendation from a friend at his practice in Dee why - was a little nervous but from start to finish felt very comfortable thru the whole process -my surgery was quite a big procedure but I’m very happy with my results it will take up to a year to see final results I’m at 5 weeks now and it looks amazing already - follow up consultations were at Adamstown and I couldn’t fault any of the staff there too - wish I’d done it 10 years ago... no regrets
