Neck lift surgery may be considered for Brisbane and South East Queensland patients with loose neck skin, visible platysmal bands, submental fullness, or loss of definition between the jawline and neck. Platysmaplasty — the muscle-repair component that addresses the platysma at the front of the neck — is often a central part of neck lift planning, particularly where vertical neck bands or central laxity are present.
