# Rhinoplasty Canberra

The nose is the only facial feature that is simultaneously the centrepiece of the face and the entrance to the airway. That dual role is why rhinoplasty is planned differently from other facial surgery: changes to the bridge, tip or septum alter how air moves through the nose, and correcting a blocked airway usually changes how the nose looks. Neither can be planned in isolation, which is why every consultation includes an internal airway examination even when the concern is purely about appearance.

Dr Scott J Turner is a Specialist Plastic Surgeon (FRACS) whose practice includes cosmetic rhinoplasty, functional rhinoplasty, septoplasty and revision surgery. He consults with Canberra patients at the Campbell clinic, with surgery performed at accredited private hospital facilities in Sydney and selected follow-up available locally.
