What are the clinic hours?

Dr Turner’s clinic at Bondi Junction and Manly is open 9am to 5pm Monday to Friday

Dr Turner consults at Bondi Junction on Tuesday / Friday and at Manly on Thursday

How much does a consultation with Dr Turner cost?

A Consultation with Dr Scott Turner is $450 (inc GST)

The consultation fee is payable at the time of placing your booking to secure your consultation time. Consultations with Dr Turner usually last from 45 to 60 minutes.

What payment methods do you accept?

Cash, EFTPOS, Direct Deposits and all major Credit Cards. Assistance with finance is available through independent medical finance companies like TLC.

Do I need a referral to see Dr Turner?

Yes, as of the 1st of July 2023, all patients are required to have a GP referral to see Dr Scott J Turner, this is applicable to any Specialist Plastic Surgeon.

In accordance with the guidelines from the Medical Board of Australia, all patients seeking cosmetic surgery will require a referral from a GP or other medical specialists. This referral will provide important medical information, such as patient history, existing comorbidities, and medications.

Is there a rebate for surgery?

If your surgery is for medical indications, as opposed to being purely cosmetic, then Medicare and some private health insurance providers may cover a portion of the costs. This will depend on your indications for surgery, the surgery involved, and your level of health insurance cover.

Can I claim part of the consultation fee?

A part of the consultation fee may be claimed by Medicare for consultations with Dr Turner that are medical in nature and not purely cosmetic. Even though all patients now require a GP referral to see Dr Turner, this does not guarantee that you are eligible for a Medicare rebate for your consultation.
