For more than 10 years, Dr Scott Turner has proudly served the communities of Newcastle and the Hunter Valley as a Specialist Plastic Surgeon. While the recent closure of our Newcastle clinic marked a shift in practice location, it has not changed Dr Turner’s ongoing commitment to the region.

Although consultations are now held at our Sydney clinics, patients from Newcastle and the Hunter Valley remain a vital part of our practice. Accessible care continues through established pathways—including telehealth and in-person visits—with the same high standard of service and personalised attention.

Dr Turner is a fully qualified Specialist Plastic Surgeon (FRACS), with over a decade of experience focused solely on cosmetic surgery of the face, nose, and breast. His dedication to patients in the region is long-standing, and we are committed to ensuring you continue to receive expert, compassionate care.

A Decade of Trusted Care in Newcastle

Dr Turner first began consulting at Newcastle in 2013, initially operating from Lingard Medical Centre and performing procedures at Lingard Private Hospital. This foundation helped establish lasting patient relationships based on trust, safety, and consistent results.

He later expanded his presence with Skin Atelier, a purpose-built clinic in Broadmeadow. Located in the Konara building, the space was designed for comfort and quality—with Scandinavian-inspired interiors, natural light, and private treatment rooms. Dr Turner also operated at Hunter Valley Private Hospital during this time.

Transitioning to Sydney-Based Care

The decision to consolidate the practice in Sydney was not made lightly. It followed both the long-term impact of the COVID-19 pandemic and evolving family commitments. While physical rooms in Broadmeadow have closed, continuity of care has not been interrupted.

Dr Turner now consults from two modern Sydney locations:

Start your consultation from the comfort of home. Secure video consultations (via Zoom or Google Meet) are available for initial assessments and general discussions.

In-Person Consultations in Sydney

At least one in-person consultation is required before any cosmetic surgery, in line with Australian medical regulations. Dr Turner welcomes Newcastle patients to his Manly or Double Bay clinics, and our team can assist with appointment coordination and travel planning.

To ensure safety and compliance with national regulations, the following steps are required:

GP Referral: Mandatory before your first consultation
Two Consultations: At least one must be in person
Informed Consent: Must be given after the in-person consultation
Cooling-Off Period: A minimum 7-day wait after consent is signed
Psychological Screening: Conducted to assess suitability
